About Rare Moments Photography
Rare Moments Photography was established in 2007 by the company’s director Jo.
A practising midwife at the time, she adored pregnancy and babies and decided to turn a loved photography hobby into a passion, to capture what she considered to be such an important life event for those she loved.
Word soon spread and Jo was in demand for her unique style, compassion for her art subject and relaxing manner.
After establishing herself on the south coast as a maternity photographer, her babies grew up and she couldn’t let them move onto another photographer! Rare Moments grew up and Jo was more in demand than ever!
Outgrowing her original studio hire, she found a home in Petersfield for her first studio with ‘Rare Moments’ over the door. An emotional moment in 2010 saw the Mayor of Petersfield officially open what was going to be a thriving studio.
Rare Moments now spreads over 3 floors, home to:
RM Portraits - Jo’s specialist maternity photography and team photography for fun, relaxed family artwork on the ground floor.
RM Makeovers - beautiful makeover studios, polishing and pampering clients, giving them totally new, confidence boosting new looks.
RMBoudoir - with very private, gorgeous boudoir sets, raising the bar across the south as the now leading studio in this genre. (Female photographers available on request)
RM Vintage - completing the family here, satisfying the desires of the South’s avid vintage fans, a rapidly growing passion for so many people.
No one could have predicted Rare Moments meteoric rise to become one of the South Coast’s favourite independent studios, although with the dedication and attention to detail Jo has shown, it really is no surprise!
Teamed with Rachel, Rare Moment’s Digital Artist and Production Manager, Jo has created a recognisable award-winning style.
A carefully picked RM team of award winning photographers and skilled stylists, show us all what a photography studio can achieve when the client is put first.
